We visited a brave little girl called Ivy Reed and her family to donate a defibrillator to situate at their home, partnering with Sarah Jones who is the founder of Restart The Heart charity. Ivy, only six years old, is recovering from a recent liver transplant. Ivy was diagnosed with non-verbal autism, and a rare metabolic disorder known as Propionic acidemia at just two weeks old.

In 2019 when Sophie was 17, her father Chris passed away aged just 54 after suffering a sudden cardiac arrest (SCA) in the driveway of their family home. While her father had received CPR from a neighbour, she also learned that access to a defibrillator could have increased his chance of survival. Sophie was suddenly left without a father, unsure what to do next, and how to process this event that had changed her entire life.

defibshop have teamed up with the Charlie Ramsay Research Fund to generously donate a defibrillator to Stoke Prior Village Hall. he Hall is situated in the rural village of Stoke Prior, Bromsgrove. Several thousand people use the hall facilities each year for family events and regular activities such as a Dance school for children and adults, Table Tennis, Karate, Ukulele, Slimming, Tai Chi, Yoga groups as well as local Parish meetings. St Mary's Defibrillator Appeal

In April, a troop of Cubs and Scouts becoming the first large group ever to scale Pendle Hill in the dark. The expedition was called ‘A Taste of Kilimanjaro’ which was to raise vital funds to install defibrillators to keep their fellow cub Ashton safe. Incredibly, an appeal which set out with a target of raising around £4,000 - surpassed the £14,000 mark.
