HS1 Defibrillator Features
The Philips HeartStart HS1 defibrillator comes with an 8 year warranty. HS1 SMART pads come connected to the device with a shelf-life of up to 2 years and a battery with a shelf-life of up to 4 years.
SMART technology
The HS1 is equipped with SMART technology to provide users with extra confidence in the treatment they're delivering as it is tailored to the needs of the individual.
The included SMART adult pads provide feedback to the defibrillator so it can adapt voice prompts according your actions and pace. The next step in the rescue process will not be announced until you are ready.
Prompts from the defibrillator are repeated when needed and include additional instructions to aid understanding. The system senses when the special Infant/Child SMART Pads cartridge is installed and automatically adjusts CPR instructions and shock energy to a level more appropriate for infants and children under 25 kg.
Regular self tests
The Philips HS1 conducts a series of automatic self-tests on a daily, weekly and monthly basis. Tests involve the pads, internal circuitry, waveform delivery and battery capacity so you can rest assured knowing your defibrillator maintains a constant ready to rescue status.
