Real CPR Help Technology

Developed by ZOLL, Real CPR Help Technology monitors the rate and depth of chest compression delivered during CPR. Through the graphic interface on the device, users are able to see when they need to 'press harder' on the chest.

This also provides real-time feedback about CPR delivery and whether the CPR adheres to current guidelines. This technology allows users to feel confident in the treatment they're delivering.

Long-Life Accessories

The ZOLL AED Plus provides investors with a battery and electrode pad life of 5-years.

Installing the battery requires users to follow the instructions in the instruction manual and follow the installation sequence of the batteries. Users also have to press the 'battery' reset button after installing new batteries. Without pressing the reset button, the device will continue to display a red cross in the readiness indicator.

The specifically Z-shaped CPR-D electrode pads are simple to install. Simply remove the old pads and replace with the new set. Investors need to ensure the pads and batteries remain installed in the device, otherwise, the device will appear an 'unusable' in the readiness indicator.

Fully Automatic Configuration

The ZOLL AED Plus Fully Automatic delivers the shock of its own accord without the responder pressing a button.

After the electrode pads have successfully been attached to the patient, they analyse whether the heart is in a shockable rhythm or not. Should the heart require a shock to correct the rhythm, the defibrillator will do this without human intervention.

The ZOLL AED Plus is also available in a semi-automatic configuration.
